With her Village Takeover in 2023, Princess Delphine created one of the most striking artistic statements in the history of Maasmechelen Village. Her theme, Love Imperfection, encouraged visitors to look at themselves with kindness. The installation — from colourful drawings to her iconic “wishing tree” — became a safe space filled with warmth, humour, and self‑reflection.
