PANGEA X FIDENZA VILLAGE
Oasis of Happiness
Discover the "Oasis of Happiness" by Pangea at Milan Design Week.
This extraordinary work of art, created by the artistic duo Pangea (Colombine Jubert and Laëtitia Rouget), will be exhibited at the cloister of the University of Milan during the INTERNI CRE-ACTION Event-Exhibition as part of Fuori Salone 2025.
An Immersive Experience of Joy and Creativity
Oasis of Happiness is a bold exploration of joy and artistic expression. Inspired by the theme CRE-ACTION, the installation invites visitors to enter, explore, and engage in an environment in constant motion. Through eight symbolic doors, visitors will move from one space to another, experiencing a unique emotional journey.
Symbolism and Textile Art
The tubular arches wrapped in flowing fabrics create an interactive and immersive experience. Each hand-embroidered symbol represents an emotion and a tribute to cultural exchange, inspired by global artistic traditions and Chinese symbolism.
Scattered throughout the installation, the letters spell out the word "CONNEXION" reinforcing the idea that happiness is found in the relationships between individuals, nature, and the universe.
A Positive Future
Pangea projects a positive future through their work, creating immersive spaces that encourage contemplation and optimism. After Design Week, "Oasis of Happiness" will move to Fidenza Village, where it will be presented in a new and interactive form.
ABOUT PANGEA
Pangea is an artistic duo founded by Colombine Jubert and Laëtitia Rouget. Through textile art, installations, performances, and design, Pangea celebrates nature and humanity, questioning our relationship with the living world and our role within it.
Their creations respond to the current climate and social crisis and invite us to dream of our utopia and give it a chance to exist.
Pangea takes the form of a utopian society: each creation is a flag for the values of this imaginary and latent world. Each work contributes to this poetic and collective projection of a possible, just, and desirable future.
